Coenurosis

Coenurosis is a condition that affects animals, especially sheep and goats. It is caused by a tiny creature called a tapeworm that lives inside the animal's intestine. The tapeworm lays eggs that are later passed out of the animal's body through the feces.

Sometimes, the eggs are eaten by another animal, like a dog or a fox, and they hatch inside that animal's body. The tiny worms that come out of the eggs travel to different parts of the animal's body, like its brain or lungs, and start to grow into larger worms. These larger worms can cause a lot of problems for the animal, making it sick and weak.

If an animal has coenurosis, it might have trouble walking or standing, and might seem confused or disoriented. The animal might also have trouble breathing if the worms are in its lungs. In some cases, the animal might even die from the infection.

To prevent coenurosis, it's important to make sure that animals don't eat food or water contaminated with tapeworm eggs. Farmers can also give their animals medication that helps prevent tapeworm infections. If an animal shows signs of coenurosis, it's important to take it to a vet as soon as possible for treatment.
