Coleman lantern

A Coleman lantern is a gadget that you use to light up a place when it gets dark, and you have no electricity. It is like a big metal lamp with a handle that you can carry around and place wherever you need to light up. The lantern fuel is usually gasoline or propane gas, which you fill up in a container called the fuel tank.

When you want to use the Coleman lantern, first you need to pump air into the tank several times to make pressure. Then, you rotate the button, and the gas valve opens, which makes the gas flow to the burner tube. At this point, you need to light the burner tube using a matchstick or a lighter. As the fuel burns inside the burner tube, it creates heat and light that comes out of the lantern lens, which illuminates the area around it.

To turn off the lantern, you have to close the gas valve by rotating the button in the opposite direction. Remember always to be careful when handling the lantern, as it can get hot and cause burns or fires if not used safely.
