ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Collaborative filtering

Collaborative filtering helps you find things that you might like. It works by looking at what other people who have the same likes as you do have liked. For example, if you like apples and oranges, and other people who like apples and oranges also like broccoli, then the collaborative filtering system will suggest that you might also like broccoli. This way, it can ‘filter’ when people work together to make recommendations.
