Commercial offshore diving

Commercial offshore diving is a type of work where people work underwater (in the ocean) to complete a variety of tasks. These tasks can include repairing bridges, oil pipelines, checking boat hulls for damage, helping to build structures underwater, and completing underwater surveys. The divers usually wear special suits and breathing masks to help them breathe underwater, and they use special tools to do the work that needs to be done. It is a difficult job because the divers have to work in the dark and cold, and often face strong currents and dangerous sea creatures. In addition, the divers need to be able to swim for long periods of time, hold their breath for extended lengths, and remain calm underwater.
