Committee for Plundered Ministers

Okay kiddo, so imagine you and your friends have a big bag of candy that you all collected together. But then, one of your friends takes a bunch of the candy all for themselves and won't share with anyone else. That's not very nice, right?

Well, a long time ago in England, something kind of like that was happening with the money that the government officials were getting paid. Some government officials were taking more money than they were supposed to and not sharing it with the other officials or with the people they were serving.

So, a group of other government officials who thought this was unfair decided to form a committee to try and make things fair again. They called themselves the Committee for Plundered Ministers.

Their job was to investigate these officials who were taking too much money and make sure they gave it back to the government where it belonged. They wanted to make sure that everyone was treated fairly and that no one was taking more than they deserved.

It wasn't always an easy job, because some of the officials who were taking too much money didn't want to admit it and give it back. But the Committee for Plundered Ministers was determined to make things right and make sure that everyone was playing by the rules.

And that, my little friend, is what the Committee for Plundered Ministers was all about. Making sure everyone was being fair and nobody was taking more than they deserved.
