Common practice period

When we talk about music, there are different periods or times when specific styles or kinds of music were very popular or common. The Common Practice Period (CPP) is a time between the 17th and 19th centuries when a lot of classical music was being made. During this time, there were certain "rules" or ways that composers followed to make their music sound good to people. In the CPP, they used certain types of instruments, created specific patterns of notes, and followed other guidelines to make sure their music sounded nice and was enjoyable to listen to. Some famous composers from this time period include Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven. Overall, the Common Practice Period was a time when a lot of beautiful and famous music was made, and people still enjoy listening to it many years later.
