Common year

A common year is like a normal year that has 365 days in it. Just like you count from 1 to 10, a year counts from January 1st to December 31st. Most years are common years, and they have the same number of days. This means that your birthday will be on the same day every year, like if your birthday is on a Monday, next year it will be on a Tuesday, and so on. But remember to celebrate leap years, which have one extra day, making it 366 days.
