Communist International

Communist International, sometimes called the Comintern, was an organization of communist parties around the world. It was created to spread the idea of communism, which is a way of organizing societies without rulers or government. The Comintern was formed in 1919 and it lasted until it was disbanded in 1943. Its main goal was to help communist parties in different countries work together to bring about a communist revolution. They did this by providing support and advice to local parties, setting up international communist conferences, and sending delegates to help in revolutionary struggles around the world. The Comintern also helped to spread propaganda and organize workers around the world.
