Communist Party of Germany v. the Federal Republic of Germany

Sometimes different countries are run by different groups or rulers. Communism is an idea that everyone should live together as a single group, meaning there is no one ruler but everyone is equal. The Communist Party of Germany wanted to try to make Germany a communist country. The Federal Republic of Germany is not a communist country, meaning people have different rights and different governments help to run the country. In the end, the Federal Republic of Germany won out and communism did not take over Germany.
