Community development

Community development is when people come together to make sure their neighbourhood is a safe and happy place. It means working together to plan activities and projects that benefit their community. This could be anything from helping to organize a local park clean-up to getting people into a neighbourhood watch where they look out for each other and report any suspicious activity. It might also involve setting up schools or businesses in the area so people can get new jobs and access better education. Being part of a community means you work to improve it, and that is what community development is all about.
