ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Complex normal distribution

A complex normal distribution is a way of representing numbers that happen in nature with more accuracy. It's like a regular normal distribution that you learn about in school, but it's more complicated and has more factors. In a regular normal distribution, the numbers will tend to stay in a certain range and look like a bell shape. But in a complex normal distribution, there can be more than one bell shape, and parts of the bell shapes can overlap each other. It allows us to better represent real-world data that can have more than one type of pattern or trend.
