ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Comprehension (logic)

Okay, let's pretend that we're playing a game where we have to follow some rules to figure out a mystery. When we try to understand the mystery we're trying to use our comprehension which means we're trying to make logical sense of things.

To play the game, we have to use our comprehension skills to follow the rules and see what works and what doesn't work. We need to try and make logical connections between the clues and see what they tell us about the mystery.

For example, if we find a piece of paper with a clue on it that says "The thief always goes through the back door," we could use our comprehension skills to figure out that the thief probably didn't come in through the front door. We might also look for other clues that could help us figure out who the thief is.

Comprehension is like a puzzle, you need to try and fit all the pieces together to make sense of things. It's important that we use our logic and reason in order to make the right connections and get to the bottom of the mystery.
