Computational theory of mind is an idea that your brain is actually like a computer. Just like a computer can think and solve problems using coding, your brain can do the same thing using different processes and functions! Computers use things like algorithms and programs, and your brain uses things like neurons and connections in the brain. But, just like computers, instead of typing in code, your brain is sending messages and signals to each other to think, remember, and act. We can study this by trying to figure out what kind of code the brain uses to work, so we can understand it better!
