Concrete masonry unit

Concrete masonry units, also sometimes called "CMU"s, are building blocks made out of strong concrete. These blocks fit together like Lego pieces and can be used to build walls and other structures. These blocks are light enough to carry around and easy to fit together, but strong enough to hold up against wind and rain. People use CMUs when they are building homes, stores, offices, and even schools.
