Congress of State

Hey kiddo! So you know how we live in a big country called the United States, right? Well, this country is divided into smaller parts called states. Each state has its own government and leaders who make decisions for their state.

Now, sometimes the leaders of different states want to get together and talk about things that affect all the states, like how to protect the environment or how to make sure everyone has access to healthcare. When they do this, it's called a congress of state.

During a congress of state, the leaders get together and discuss these important issues. They might share ideas and come up with plans for how to tackle these problems in a way that works for all the states. It's kind of like when you and your friends get together to plan a playdate, but instead of just talking about toys and games, they talk about really big and important things!

These congresses of state don't happen all the time - they usually only happen when there are big issues that need to be addressed. But when they do happen, it's a way for the leaders of the different states to work together and make sure everyone is being heard and considered.
