Conjecture

Conjecture is when you make a guess about something, usually when you don't have all the facts. For example, you may think that all cats have furry tails, but this might not be true - you don't know until you've seen every type of cat. So you can make a conjecture that all cats have furry tails, but it might not be right - it's just a guess.
