Okay, so you know how we have different parts of our body, like our eyes, nose, mouth, and ears?
Well, proteins are kind of like the parts of our body, but they're made up of tiny things called amino acids.
Now, some proteins are special because they have other tiny things attached to them. These attachment things are called "conjugates".
So when a protein has one of these conjugates attached to it, we call it a conjugated protein. Kind of like when you put stickers on your backpack or water bottle to make them more cool and unique!
But unlike stickers, these conjugates on the proteins can actually help the protein do its job better, like helping it to move around, connect with other molecules, or even send important messages.
Just like how our body needs all its different parts to work together to do things like walk, talk, and see, our cells need all their different proteins (including the conjugated ones!) to work together to keep us healthy and alive.
