Connectomics

Connectomics is the science of understanding how nerve cells in the brain are connected to each other. It helps us to understand how the brain works and how different parts of the brain talk to each other. To study connectomics, scientists look at different parts of the brain to see how many nerve cells (or neurons) are connected to one another. By studying how the neurons are connected, scientists can better understand how the brain processes information and how different parts of the brain work together.
