Conservation grazing

Conservation grazing is a way of taking care of land by letting animals graze (eat grass) on it. Just like people need to eat food to stay healthy, land needs animals to help take care of it and make sure it's in good shape. When animals graze on land, their hooves (feet) help to break up the soil, which helps the grass and other plants to grow better, and the animals' poop fertilizes the land, which helps the plants to stay strong and healthy. In addition, all of the animals eating the grass means that it never gets too long, which stops it from becoming too thick and blocking sunlight from getting to the ground. That way, the ground can stay cool and plants can have a chance to grow without getting overheated.
