Conservative wave

Conservative wave means politics and laws that are supported by people who think governments should be strong and that certain social activities should be restricted. It means that laws keep traditional values, like respect for authority and religious beliefs, in place and punish those that act in a way that goes against those values. In some countries, this means that things like drinking alcohol and having sex before marriage are frowned upon and even punished. It also means that people who violate these laws can expect to face extra judgement and punishment.
