Consignment shop

Okay kiddo, have you ever had a toy that you didn't want anymore but it was still in good condition, and you wished you could sell it to someone else who might like it? That's kind of what a consignment shop is like.

A consignment shop is a store that sells things that people bring in to sell, but they don't actually own the things. The store only agrees to sell the items for the people, and then the store and the seller will split the money made from selling the item.

So, let's say you have a pretty dress that you wore a couple of times but you grew out of it or just don't wear it anymore. Instead of throwing it away, you can bring it to a consignment shop and ask them to sell it for you. They will display your dress in their store, and if someone comes in and wants to buy it, the shop will take a portion of the money for their services and give you the rest.

The good thing about consignment shops is that they often have a wide variety of things for sale, since lots of different people can bring in things to sell. And if you're someone who loves finding cool things for cheap, consignment shops are a great place to shop!
