Consonants

Consonants are sounds that we make with our mouths when we speak. They are the sounds that come out when we close our lips together (like the "b" sound in "bat"), or when we use our tongue to touch the roof of our mouth (like the "t" sound in "top"). There are many different consonant sounds, and they all make our language more interesting and fun to speak! So next time you say something, try to pay attention to the consonants you are using.
