Container on barge

Imagine you have a very big boat, called a barge, that floats on water. This barge is like a really big truck that can carry lots of things. But instead of driving on a road, it travels on the water.

Now, imagine you have lots of boxes that need to be moved from one place to another, but they are too heavy or too bulky for a person to carry. So, you put them in a smaller box called a container.

These containers can be filled with anything you want to transport, like toys, clothes, food, or even cars! They have big doors so that you can easily put things inside and take them out.

To move these containers on the barge, you use a special machine called a crane. It picks up the container and places it on the barge.

Once the barge is loaded with containers, it sets sail to another place where the boxes need to be delivered. When the barge reaches its destination, another crane takes the containers off the barge and puts them on a truck, train, or another barge to be transported to the final destination.
