Contemporary fantasy

Contemporary fantasy is a type of fantasy story, which takes place in the world we live in now. The story usually includes things like magic, witches, fairies, and other creatures that don't exist in the real world. But, everything else around them is the same as the world we live in. So, for example, the characters might live in the city, drive cars, use technology and still be able to use the magic and see the creatures in this type of story.
