ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Contract failure

Contract failure happens when two people or companies have agreed to do something, called a contract, but one or both sides doesn't follow through with what they said they would do. This can happen for lots of different reasons and can be a big problem. For example, if one side said they will pay money to the other side but then doesn't actually pay it, then that's contract failure. Contract failure is usually against the law, so it's important to do what you say you will in a contract.
