Control order

A control order is a type of restriction put in place to keep people safe. It is used when someone may be a risk to public safety or national security, or when they are suspected of being involved in serious crimes like terrorism. Control orders can mean that someone has to obey certain rules, like only going certain places, staying away from certain people, or wearing an electronic tag to monitor their movements. Breaking a control order is a crime and can lead to being arrested.
