Convention on Cybercrime

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of something called the internet? It's like a big network of computers that lets people from all over the world talk to each other, play games, and share pictures and videos.

But with all the good things the internet has, there can also be some bad things like cybercrimes. These are crimes that are committed online, like stealing someone's personal information or attacking a website.

To help stop these cybercrimes, many different countries got together and made a set of rules called the Convention on Cybercrime. This is like a set of directions that tells everyone how to work together to catch cybercriminals and keep people safe online.

The Convention on Cybercrime makes it so that different countries have to work together and help each other out if someone commits a cybercrime that crosses different borders. This makes it harder for cybercriminals to get away with what they do.

So, just like how you have to follow rules at school to keep everyone safe and happy, countries follow the rules of the Convention on Cybercrime to keep everyone on the internet safe too!
