ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Converters (industry)

A converter is like a machine that changes one thing into another thing.

For example, let's say you have a big block of metal, but you actually want it in a different shape, like a tube or a wire. You could use a converter to change the metal block into the shape you want.

In industry, converters are used for lots of different things, like changing the temperature of something or changing how much electricity something has.

A converter needs to be really precise, or else it might not work right. Imagine if you were trying to change the metal block into a tube, but the converter made it too thin, or too wide. That would be a problem!

So, people who work with converters need to be really careful and make sure everything is just right. They also need to understand how different materials react to the converter, so they can get the right results.
