Convertiplane

A convertiplane is like a flying machine that can switch between two different modes: flying like a regular airplane, and then switching to hovering like a helicopter. Imagine a toy helicopter that can also fly like a toy airplane.

To do this, a convertiplane has special engines and rotors that can change position. When it wants to fly like an airplane, the rotors are tilted forward and the engine of the plane pushes it forward like a regular plane. But when it wants to hover in place like a helicopter, the rotors are tilted straight up and the engine of the plane makes the rotors spin very fast, lifting the plane up.

This fancy flying machine can be really useful in situations where there are no runways or helipads, because it can take off and land vertically like a helicopter, but also fly faster and farther like an airplane. Some convertiplanes are used for things like military operations or rescue missions where speed, agility, and versatility are important.
