Coon Chicken Inn
So, back in the old days, there was a restaurant called Coon Chicken Inn. It was a restaurant that had a big sign outside with a chicken that was shaped like a black person's head.
Now, this restaurant was around during a time when people didn't always treat Black people very nicely. And because of that, many people thought that having a restaurant with a sign like that was very mean and hurtful to Black people.
So, many people protested against the restaurant and eventually, it had to close down.
