Coptic language

Coptic language is a very old way of speaking that was used a long, long time ago in Egypt. It's kind of like how your great-grandparents or great-great-grandparents might have spoken a different language than you do now.

In fact, Coptic language was used as far back as the time of the pharaohs, who were the big leaders of Egypt way back then. But over time, people started to speak a different language in Egypt called Arabic instead.

Nowadays, there are only a few people left who can speak Coptic language, but it's still an important language for some people in Egypt and around the world. It's especially important for people who follow a religion called Coptic Christianity, which has been around for over 1,500 years.

So, Coptic language is kind of like a special way of speaking that used to be really popular in Egypt a long time ago, and some people still use it today because it's a really important part of their culture and religion.
