Well kiddo, corruption is when people in power use their position to do things that are not good for everyone, but only good for themselves or their friends. How does this happen? Well, maybe they take money from someone who wants to do something that’s against the law, or maybe they give a job to someone they know, even if that person is not the best person for the job.
In Finland, people care a lot about being fair and honest. They want their country to be a good place for everyone to live, work, and play. So, there is not a lot of corruption in Finland. Of course, there are always some bad apples who try to cheat the system, but usually they get caught and punished.
In fact, Finland is ranked as one of the least corrupt countries in the world! This is because the government has put in place a lot of rules and regulations to prevent corruption. They also have groups of people who investigate any suspicious behavior and make sure that everything is fair and honest.
So, even though there may be some people who try to cheat, Finland is a pretty good place to be because most people are trying to do the right thing. And that’s what makes it a great country!
