Cosmos DB

Cosmos DB is a cloud database that makes it easy to store and access data from anywhere in the world. It works like a big filing cabinet with lots of drawers. Each drawer is like a database and it has folders (called collections) and papers (called documents) inside of it. The papers have different kinds of information on them, like account numbers or customer names. You can ask for a specific paper (document) and Cosmos DB will give it to you very quickly. You can also ask for multiple papers (documents) together and Cosmos DB will give them to you as well. By using Cosmos DB, you can get information from your database very quickly, no matter where you are.
