Countdown

A countdown is like when we want to know how much time is left until something happens, like New Year's Eve or our birthday. So we start at a big number, like 10, and then every second we say a smaller number until we get to zero. When we get to zero, whatever we were waiting for happens! So counting down is just a fun way to keep track of time and get excited for something special.
