Country–western dance

Okay kiddo, do you know what country music is? It’s a kind of music that comes from America and it usually has guitars and singers who sing about things like trucks, love, and cowboys. Country-western dance is a kind of dance where people dance to country music.

When you go to a country-western dance, you usually see people wearing cowboy boots, hats, and shirts. They dance in a big open space called a dance floor. They move their feet and bodies to the beat of the music.

There are different styles of country-western dance, but some of the popular ones are two-step, line dancing, and swing. In two-step, people dance with a partner and take two steps in one direction and then two steps in the other direction. In line dancing, people dance in a line and follow a set of steps together. In swing, people dance with a partner and move in a back and forth motion.

Country-western dance is a lot of fun and a great way to enjoy country music with friends and family.
