Coupling (probability)

Coupling (probability) is when two events have a connection or relationship to each other. For example, if you pick a card from a deck of cards and then pick a second card, the probability (or chance) of getting any given card depends on the card that you chose first. That's what coupling is - the probability of one event affecting the probability of another event.
