Court case

A court case is like playing a game with rules that grownups made up. Sometimes, people can't agree on something, and they need someone to make a decision. When this happens, they go to a special place called a court. In a court, there is a person called a judge who listens to both sides of the story and then decides who is right and who is wrong.

The people who start the court case are called plaintiffs, and they usually say that the other person did something wrong. The other person is called the defendant, and they might say that they did not do anything wrong or that they have a good reason for what they did.

The judge listens carefully to both sides and looks at any evidence they have, like pictures, documents or messages. The judge also asks questions to understand what happened. The judge then decides who is right and who is wrong and what should be done to fix the problem.

Sometimes, court cases are very important, like when someone has done something really bad and they need to be punished. Other times, it's just something small like who gets to keep a toy or where a driveway can be built. But no matter what, the judge tries to be fair and make the best decision to help everyone involved.
