ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Craftsmanship

Craftsmanship is when someone takes materials, like wood, metal, or clay, and uses their hands and special tools to turn them into something special and unique. Just like how you might use crayons and paper to make a drawing, a craftsman has their own special materials and techniques to create things like furniture or pottery. They take a lot of time and care to make sure everything is just right, and often their final product is something that lasts a very long time because it was made with such care and attention. It's like when you make a special toy or artwork that you really love and are proud of - that's what craftsmanship is all about.
