Criminal mischief

Criminal mischief is when a person breaks or damages something that belongs to someone else. Examples of criminal mischief might include throwing stones at someone else's window and breaking it, graffitiing someone's wall, or taking something that doesn't belong to you without permission. Criminal mischief is a crime and if you do it, you can be punished with a fine or even jail time.
