Critical pair (logic)

A Critical Pair in logic is like two sentences that seem different, but they actually mean the same thing. For example, "Squares are shapes" and "Shapes are squares" both say the same thing even though the words are different. A Critical Pair is two sentences like this that mean the same thing.
