Criticism of the Federal Reserve

The Federal Reserve is like a bank for the United States. It controls and manages the money in the country, like making sure there's enough money and that it's not too hard or too easy to get. Sometimes people don't like the way the Federal Reserve does things and so they have criticism. They may say that the Federal Reserve is too slow to respond to economic crises, or that their decisions hurt some people more than others. They may also say that the Federal Reserve doesn't do enough to help people who've been hurt by bad economic decisions. Basically, some people don't think the Federal Reserve is doing enough to help people and to make the economy better.
