Crown cork

A crown cork is a special kind of lid that goes on top of a bottle. It keeps things inside the bottle fresh and safe.

The lid is made of metal and has a little button in the middle that you push down to seal the bottle. When you want to open the bottle, you use a special tool called a bottle opener to lift up the button and take off the lid.

Crown corks are often used for drinks like soda, beer, and juice because they keep the drinks from going flat or getting too warm. So the next time you have a drink from a bottle with a little metal button on top, that's a crown cork!
