Cruthin
Okay kiddo, let me tell you all about the Cruthin people! A long time ago, there were lots of different groups of people living in a place called Ireland. One of those groups was the Cruthin people. They were thought to have lived in a big part of the Northern part of Ireland called Ulster.
The Cruthin people were really interesting because they didn't write much down about themselves, so we have to try and figure out what they were like from other clues. We know that they were really good at making things out of metal - like swords and jewellery. They also built homes using things called 'wattle and daub' which is when you use sticks with mud in between to make walls.
Even though we don't know that much about the Cruthin people, we can still learn a lot about the world around them and how people lived back then. Isn't it cool to think about what life was like hundreds and hundreds of years ago?
