Cuban Americans

Cuban Americans are people who were born in Cuba or have Cuban heritage and now live in the United States. Cuba is a country that is very close to the United States, but for a long time, the two countries didn't get along very well.

Many Cuban Americans came to the United States because they had to leave Cuba. Cuba had a big revolution in 1959, when a man named Fidel Castro took over as leader of the country. Some people disagreed with the way he was running things and didn't feel safe there anymore. They felt they had to leave and find a new home.

When these people came to the United States, they brought with them their traditions, culture, and food. Cuban Americans are known for their love of family, music, and lively personalities. They also love to dance and cook delicious meals.

Cuban Americans have had to work hard to build new lives in the United States, but they have also made significant contributions to their new country. They have become business owners, doctors, lawyers, politicians, and entertainers.

Overall, Cuban Americans are people who have a strong sense of identity rooted in their heritage but also value their new home in the United States. They are proud of their culture and traditions and are determined to make a better life for themselves and their families.
