Cuban immigration to the United States

Okay kiddo, so you know how there's this island called Cuba that's next to the United States? Well, a lot of people used to live in Cuba and some of them wanted to move to the United States for different reasons.

A long time ago, in the 1960s, there was a leader in Cuba named Fidel Castro who made some big changes and some people didn't like it. They decided to leave Cuba and go to the United States. This is what we call Cuban immigration.

Some Cubans left because they didn't agree with the government or they felt like they couldn't do what they wanted in Cuba. Other people left because they were looking for new opportunities, like jobs or education.

The journey from Cuba to the United States is not always easy. Some people traveled by boat, which is very dangerous. Even if they make it to the United States, they might not be able to stay there legally.

Sometimes the United States government accepts Cuban immigrants and sometimes they don't. This means that some people who want to stay in the United States might have to leave and go back to Cuba.

Overall, Cuban immigration means people from Cuba moving to the United States for different reasons, and sometimes it can be a difficult and risky journey.
