Cuban migration to Miami

Cuban migration to Miami is when people from Cuba move to the city of Miami, in the United States of America. Cuba is a country located in the Caribbean Sea, off the coast of Florida. In 1959, the Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, came to power, and imposed a form of communist government on the island. This change caused a lot of people to leave the country, and come to live in the United States, especially in Miami. Many of these Cuban immigrants are now part of the community in Miami, and some of their descendants have grown up here, creating a Cuban-American culture in the city. Miami is now home to many Cuban restaurants, music, and art, which celebrates Cuban culture and keeps it alive in the United States.
