Cultural Hindus

Okay kiddo, there are some people in the world who follow a religion called Hinduism. They are called Hindus. But being a Hindu is not just about believing in a religion, it's also about having a certain culture and way of life.

These people who follow Hindu culture and traditions, even if they don't practice the religion in a traditional way, are called cultural Hindus. They might celebrate Hindu festivals, eat certain foods, wear certain clothes, or even have certain beliefs that are influenced by Hinduism.

Being a cultural Hindu is kind of like being a fan of a certain sports team. You might not play the sport yourself, but you still wear their colors, cheer for them, and celebrate their victories.

Cultural Hindus might have grown up in families that have followed Hindu traditions for generations or they might have been introduced to the culture later in life. But no matter how they came to appreciate Hinduism, they find value in the history, stories, and practices of the culture.
