Cultural conservatism means that most people in a society want to keep doing things the way they have always been done. This means that instead of trying new things or accepting new ideas, people prefer to stick with the same practices and customs they have been following for a long time. A cultural conservative might not be open to changes in things like language, religion, or customs.
