Cultural schema theory

Cultural Schema Theory is a way of thinking about how people learn about their culture. It says that people learn by finding patterns and understanding the rules that go along with those patterns. So, if you see somebody doing something in a certain way, and you understand why they're doing it that way, then you can learn and remember what was done and why. It's like when you learn a game or a song, you can remember the whole thing because you noticed the pattern.
