ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Curia

Alright, little one! The curia is like a group of very important people who help make big decisions in a very special place called the Vatican. They work for the Pope and help him with things like deciding what the rules of the church should be, how to solve problems when people disagree, and other important stuff like that. The people who work in the curia are called cardinals and they wear these fancy red robes. It's a very important job that takes a lot of knowledge and skill to do, but they do it to help make sure the church runs smoothly and fairly.
